· What is it?

Remote access allows for access to the University of Seville’s subscription electronic resources from any computer with an internet connection.

· Who can access it?

All members of the University of Seville:

Students
Teaching and Research Staff
Administration and Service Staff

· How do I access it?

To access our electronic resources, just click the title of the resource you are searching for from the e-Resources page , or click the corresponding link in the FAMA Catalog.

You will see the following screen, on which you must authenticate by entering your University user name and password. More information about the University of Seville’s virtual accounts.

In the event that you do not have a virtual account, you may access these resources through your Library account by entering your:

Full National ID number or passport number, and
PIN

If you do not have a PIN, click “My Account” and follow the instructions. If you have forgotten your PIN, click “Have you forgotten your PIN?”. To use this, the e-mail address associated with your user registration must be up-to-date. More information about this function.

All of the resources that permit remote access appear with the icon when searching from the e-Resources page and appear with the link “How to connect from outside of the University” when searching in the Fama Catalog.
